#61. Hey Ho Let's Go

Look 1: Military (RedRock); Bunting Necklace (Hannah Zakari); Anthea Lace Up Ankle Boots (Topshop); 80 Den Opaque Tights (Topshop); Khaki Ovoid Parker Jacket (Topshop); Confetti Stud Pouch Bag (Urban Outfitters); Arabel Cut Out Boots (Topshop); Plain Fedora (Topshop).

Hey rodeos,

I recently came across Red Rock, so was delighted when they asked me to create three looks centred around my favourite products. I instantly knew which three to pick as I have had my eye on them for a while, particularly the Military shirt above (which I am sad to say is sold out online, so I really want it to come back into stock so I can buy it...oh pretty shirt me mine!).

Anyways, onto my looks...

Look 1: I absolutely love love love this shirt (as if you hadn't already guessed from my comment above)...it is such a great colour and the perfect length for wearing with leggings and tights. I do like a good shirt dress. This works in well with the military trend which has come back in this Season but I do really like the floral collar detail which adds a delicate edge to the more masculine tailoring of the shirt - perfect!

Yes, I know there are 2 pairs of shoes in the picture above. Fear not, I have just the regular two feet (and struggle to dress them so no idea what I would be like with four) but I just couldn't choose. Topshop have some truly great shoes and boots in at the moment and I think they are all A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and have got them all on my wishlist! (My wishlist is huuuuuge already. Someone needs to rein me in! Wish my birthday was closer) I think both pairs would work really well with the dress, especially with black tights and the oxblood fedora.

Look 2: Ruffle Dress (RedRock); Felt Roll Rim Bowler (ASOS); Aristotle Chunky Tassle Boots (Topshop);  Sun Bangle (Hannah Zakari); Studded Boyfriend Cardigan (ASOS).

Look 2
: This look is built around this gorgeous patterned dress. The colours are just great, lovely and vibrant and remind me of summer time and holidays (what are they again?!? haha). This dress would look great with bare legs or tights too, so perfect for both winter and summer dressing. I paired it with a black bowler as I completely have a thing about them at the minute after buying my own one...it has not been off my head since and think it would work perfectly with the girlishness
of the dress, it gives everything such a cool twist. And onto the boots...yet another pair I am in love with...the buckles, the tassles, just amazing. Paired with a boyfriend cardigan and we are good to go!

Look 3: The Ramones vintage tshirt (RedRock); Black Enkle Buckle Boots (Urban Outfitters); Aztec Flock Skirt (Miss Selfridge); Tiny Animal Bracelet - Flamingo (Hannah Zakari); Embellished Collar Necklace (New Look); Large Box Chain Day Bag (Topshop); Arabella Floral Crown (Rock n Rose); Longline Coatigan (ASOS).

Look 3: Last but certainly not least is this vintage Ramones t-shirt. Yeah I know its from the men's section, but I am no stranger to guys clothes as I 'borrow' Robin's jumpers all the time. Sometimes its nice to have a more relaxed fit and still be super cosy...no? I love The Ramones and used to listen to them all the time when I was a teenager and have been after a good tshirt for ages. HMV (rip) used to have some great ones but I am loving the face that this one is vintage and has a history.

I decided to pair it with this fab wee patterned skirt from Miss Selfridge and these cute buckled boots from Urban Outfitters. I also thought that this outfit would go nicely with the Rock N Rose Crown. I think they look really cool (they have such a great selection on their site - if I could get away with wearing flowers in my hair like this all day, every day I would...must be the hippy in me! Point me to Woodstock) and add something a bit different to an outfit.

What do you think of the looks I have put together? You can also have a peruse of Red Rock's website here and ever social media savvy you can keep in touch with them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram too! Cheeky!

Right, that's me off just now. Away to get a halloumi burger with a friend from the Red Squirrel beside work...never had one? Do, they are amazing! Oh and if you haven't already, there's still time to enter my Hannah Zakari brooch giveaway! Be quick!

Ciao,

Song on repeat - Blitzkrieg Bop, The Ramones. Since finding this tshirt I keep singing this song, which is really annoying my work pals as the only bit I actually know is Hey Ho Letfragiles Go, so I have just been singing that on repeat! Better get learning! Just a great song to 'bop' around to!
